Applicants Family Renew Community is not an "emergency housing shelter", it is a transitional housing program (6-24 months).  Our application process requires some eight pages of current and background information; references are checked and background information is verified.  The process normally takes a week to two weeks and acceptance is contingent upon availability of an apartment and a negative UA (drug) test.

We help families who want to help themselves; the program is not a hand out - it is a hand up.

Families with children under 18 years of age must be:

  • Homeless
  • Drug free
  • Employed or employable (within three weeks of entry)
  • Willing to abide by program rules
