We love to share our story!

Family homelessness in Volusia County has been in the news lately. And even though Family Renew Community's name hasn't been in the headlines, the organization is on the leading edge of efforts to address this issue and has been since 1989.

FRC quietly hosts 32 families at a time in modest apartments at campuses in Holly Hill, Daytona Beach and DeLand while the parents work to attain permanent housing. It's more, though, than a place to stay. All family members receive services, coordinated by professional case managers, to set them on a path to success.

More than 20 religious congregations are involved in the effort, as are countless individuals and numerous businesses and community groups. These relationships are FRC's most-valued asset, and its leaders are always is seeking to cultivate more by telling its story face-to-face.
