Those of us with Google News Alerts set for “Family Renew” had a lot to look at in the past week.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal did a story on the huge selection and supply of merchandise available at charity shops, including our Secret Attic Thrift Store. Lots of folks have used their safer-at-home time to clean out their closets and garages.
And the Hometown News featured Family Renew Community and Tomoka United Methodist Church, one of our trustee congregations, in a story about how nonprofits are getting creative to make sure people’s needs are met during this pandemic.
