About FRC
Who We Are
Family Renew Community unites people from diverse backgrounds and circumstances to alleviate homelessness among families with children in Volusia County, Florida. Our board of trustees (21 faith-based partners and individuals from various sectors), a small staff, a dedicated cadre of volunteers, generous donors, our client families and others play roles in advancing our mission.

A Hand Up, Not a Handout
We house 32 families at our facilities, three residential campuses in Daytona Beach, DeLand and Holly Hill. Families may stay for six months or more, and during that time our program provides intensive services aimed at increasing their capacity to become self-supporting. We expect our families to work and save toward their goals and to remain drug- and alcohol-free. We operate a thrift shop, the Family Renew Community Store in Ormond Beach, to help fund our programs.
How You Can Help
Donations to Family Renew Community in any amount of money, merchandise for sale at our thrift shop and other assets are tax-deductible and always appreciated. The 300 Club provides a special giving option for large donors. Like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter for the latest information on our many fun fundraising events. Volunteering in our thrift shop, administrative offices or shelters helps us keep costs low.
