Daycare worker. Restaurant server. Security guard.
Parents at Family Renew Community depend upon jobs like these to keep their families moving on the path out of homelessness. They are the kinds of jobs that are going away for a while. Social distancing to contain the spread of COVID-19 already has slashed the income of more than a third of the homeless families staying in our 32 apartments in Holly Hill, Daytona Beach and DeLand. This may mean saving enough to lift their families out of homelessness will be harder and take longer. Through the generosity of supporters like you, though, we can assure these families we’ll stay with them the rest of the way.
