Losing her restaurant job at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic appeared at first to be a big obstacle on the road out of homelessness for a single mom with an infant. But the detour led her back onto the path toward a long-forgotten dream.

One mom is enrolled in nursing classes. Other parents have gotten better-paying jobs with Amazon in Deltona. They are working to lift their families out of homelessness forever.
